8 Things for Keeping a Dog

1 - Dogs do not recognize the words, but they could recognize the tone of voice. Do not scold your dog, but talk to him as if it were a person. With a "no" sound and powerful is enough to indicate that you have done something wrong.

2 - The animal learns faster with positive reinforcement. When your puppy does something right, give a small prize (a dog biscuit, a pair of feed pellets ...) and a caress or mime. Gradually reduce food awards, substituting honey.

3 - Create your dog habits: for example, serve him his food always at the same time and not offer him yours, but you put a sad face. This will prevent the animal from stealing food or ask insistently to sit at the table.

4 - Consistency is a key factor in educating your puppy with puppy bow ties. Do not expect the animal learn not to do his home on the first day; the results of a good education will be obtained in the medium term. Be firm, patient and persevering, and will have in his hand the key to properly educate your puppy.

5 - The animal must have their own toys, bed, like the foldable dog bed, etc. Point out how you can play and what not, where can sleep and what they can bite. If you have your own things, you will feel less attracted to play with the belongings of others.

6 - All dogs need exercise, running and go out several times a day. If the animal does not burn enough energy, you may misbehave being at home. Go outside with your dog for a walk, cover your need to run and play in the park with him every day.

7 - Be firm. If you do not want your dog, for example, get on the couch, let him do so sometimes yes, sometimes no, because he confused. All rules must be clear and understandable, so that the animal understands and assimilates what should or should not do.


8 - Do not physically punish the animal; not hit him nor enclose. This will not help in their education, and also can cause the dog generate a nervous and violent.
